This unit covered the four different present tenses in the English language. These four tenses include present simple, present continuous, present perfect, and present perfect continuous. It was helpful to read the various example sentences since I found it difficult to distinguish the differences between the four tenses. I found that sometimes the differences are very slight and I had to continually look at the \"rules\" for the tenses in order to understand why a specific sentence fell into a specific category. It was also helpful to see a number of teaching examples that can be used to help students understand the information when in the activate stage of the lesson.
