This unit focused more so on the past tenses. Most of the rules transferred over from the present tense forms over to the past tense. Past simple, past continuous, past perfect, and past perfect continuos are all introduced in the unit to have different rules. The pst simple verbs contains many irregular verbs that doesn't follow any specific rules to spell, but instead must be memorized and practiced. The past simple adds the ed at the end of the verb. The past continuous uses was and were while adding ing to the end of the verb. Past perfect uses had while using the past participle. The past perfect continuous uses had been while adding the ing at the end of the verb.
