The unit gives three ways of evaluating: tutorial, evaluating by the students and tests.The last is broken down into four types: placement test, progress test, diagnostic test, and practice test. The placement and diagnostic tests are similar in their purpose to evaluate student's knowledge and abilities before beginning their learning process; progress tests are designed to gauge students progress through lessons; the last one is to practice before taking external exams. It was interesting to learn about types of tests and to see their samples but I think it would've been great to see in the unit more information about making tests, examining and grading students' work.
