There are four present tenses, much more than I was aware of before I read this unit. The present simple tense describes is constructed as: Subject + Verb. The present continuous tense is constructed as: Subject + \"be\" + Verb(ing). The present perfect tense is constructed as: Subject + \"have\" + Past participle Verb. Lastly, the present perfect continuous is constructed as: Subject + \"have\" + \"been\" + Past participle Verb. Each of these four present tenses have specific uses in the English language, that a native speaker like myself might overlook. I enjoyed this unit because it opened my eyes to how I construct my English conversations in the present tense.
