My reflection of unit one is understanding what qualities a good teacher should possess to create an environment where students have a desire to learn. The different roles, such as participant, assessor or prompter etc., should be utilized when appropriate in a classroom to achieve the highest level of learning. The psychological process and tendencies of the various age groups greatly impact the learning process and the teaching style may vary depending on a particular age group. How to maintain student participation in the classroom in a diverse setting. Overall, the unit allows me to understand how the teacher/student relationship is vital in a classroom setting.
