This unit described the forms and usages of the present tenses. The different forms include: present simple, present continuous, present perfect, and present perfect continuous. Each of these forms serve different purposes in a sentence structure. The present simple uses the base form of verbs while the others modify the verb and use specific auxiliary verbs to structure the sentence in a specific way. The second part of each explanation would include some typical student errors that the teacher should look out for and be prepared to explain the corrections that need to be made. There are also descriptions of different ideas for teachers to use during the activate stage.
