It talks about placement, progress, diagnostic, practice and proficiency tests, their form, the skills and the parts they consist of. In the end, it lists the most popular and widely recognised tests in general (Cambridge examinations - KET, PET, FCE, CAE, CPE) business (TOEIC, BEC, BULATS) and academic English (TOEFL and IELTS). It mentions what they consist of and who is the target group of these exams. This unit covered the points I am quite familiar with, since the school I work in is an official exam preparation provider for Cambridge examinations).
