Unit 1 gave us a insight in the different roles of a teacher and what makes a good teacher. The different roles of a teacher were described in detail and I also learned when to use which teaching style. Apart from what makes a good teacher we also talked about what makes a good student. A good student should be willing to listen to the language, accept errors and mistakes, ask questions and desire to learn. There are different stages od language proficy, such as beginner, elementary, intermediate and advanced. However, this classifications might differ from textbook to textbook.
