The teacher was more clear, energetic, and friendly in the second video and you could really see the difference in the students. He was personable and learned the student's names. He used humor to help the students relax and they felt more free to interact in the lesson. He allowed the students to work in pairs to reduce stress. He provided pictures and gestures to help clarify vocabulary. He was positive and praised his students. He gave feedback for good answers and guided mistakes towards correct answers. He was also aware of cultural differences that came up with the students. They may not be familiar with European animals. The class was well organized and well paced.
