This unit has summarized the the different ways of evaluating student's level and progress and also discussed about some external exams that students need to be prepared for. I learnt from it that diagnosis test prior to EFL lesson is very important as teacher will need to know what the student do and don't know before preparing his lesson. Continual tests helps him to gauge the students' progress, and then placement test allow for students to be place in new class depending on their language ability. Any student preparing for external will be given nothing other than practice tests because it should follow the format and structure of the external examination in question.
