This unit touched on the last few \"basic\" grammar topics that are covered in this course. It went over Modal Auxiliary Verbs, the Passive Voice, Relative Clauses, and Phrasal Verbs. It served as a good review of a these topics, which are commonly used by English speakers but are rarely thought of by them. The The modals were looked at one by one and their use in the present/future and past tenses was discussed. The passive voice was compared to the active voice the passive's usage was touched on. A quick look at relative clauses followed. The differentiation of defining and non-defining clauses was clear and helpful. Lastly, the three types of phrasal verbs were studied.
