Unit 8 covers the seven different future tenses: future simple, future continuous, future perfect, future perfect continuous, ´going to´ future, present simple (with future meaning) and present continuous (with future meaning. The areas that the unit deals with in each tense is form, usage, typical mistakes or errors (to a lesser degree) and teaching ideas. I have learnt how to better define each future tense and in which area each tense should be used. I have also learnt that it is beneficial to treat the future tenses as a separate tense group when teaching, even though many grammar books only recognize two tense groups in the English language (past and present).
