In this unit I learned about the past tenses: past simple, past perfect, past continuous, and the past perfect continuous. All of the past tenses refer to past time periods and have a lot in common with the present tense, such as all the perfect forms featuring \"to have\". I also learned about the irregular forms that can be found in the past simple, such as the word \"see\" which turns to \"saw\" instead of adding -ed at the end. I also got to learnt he forms of each past tense, such as for the past continuous, which as \"subject + was/were + -ing\" for an affirmative sentence. I also learned some of the mistakes that students can make, such as forgetting to add the -ing.
