This unit presented Basic rules and Teaching ideas of modal auxiliary verbs firstly. these 'modals' are: can, could, may, might, shall, should, will, would, must, have to, have got to, need to, needn't and ought to. Secondly, we saw passive voice. It was based on the form, the usage, typical student errors and teaching ideas. Thirdly, we saw categories of clauses and some examples of relative clauses. Finally, we studied the three basic types of phrasal verbs, which are: intransitive, transitive separable and transitive inseparable. At this level, it is true that I have not cover the whole grammatical system, but I have the basic grammar knowledge to teach English language.
