In unit nine we learn about the basics of starting to plan lessons. This unit explains that lesson plans are important because they create a frame of reference, keep record of what you have already learned and provide important structure and organization. In this unit we get to to put into action and use the information that we have been slowing learning over the past units. Lessons plans should contain a structure for an engage, study and activate stages of learning and each should contain a learning objective for the class. Lesson plans are not only beneficial to students learning, they also help teachers to track what ideas work best and areas in which they can improve.
