In this unit, I see the difference between how the students behave. It really depends on how the teacher brings the environment into the classroom. The way that teacher speaks and teaches will affect how the student react in the classroom. As a teacher, we really need to pay attention to how we act and the attitude that bring into the classroom.This unit has helped me to understand the importance of classroom management and building rapport with students. I can now see the benefits of different seating positions in the classroom such as horseshoe to make the class feel less intimidating and the teacher less dominant. I also now realise the importance of not having my back to the class.
