This unit was about testing and evaluating students. This is important not just for placing students at their level, but also to check their progress throughout the year. There are many different types of tests including placement, diagnostic, progress tests. Tests need to be a balance of Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking to be successful.This unit was quiet complicated and could have used a few more examples to strengthen understanding of modal and phrasal verbs. I had previously studied a bit on active and passive voice so felt more confident during this section of the unit and my gaps in knowledge with the other sections means I will have to do some extra study at a later date.
