In this Unit we covered the conditional speech and it's four forms and also reported speech and how that is constructed. Overall a complicated unit similar previous ones in that it is a difficult concept to native speakers for whom these forms come naturally without having to think about it.So explaining these concepts could be quite challenging.I learned in this unit that the present tense of verbs is not as simple as it would seem, as is indicated by the fact that there are actually twelve types of present tense verbs alone, shown on pages one through nine. This can be confusing for native-English-speaking students, so must be dealt with clearly and carefully in regards to L2 learners.
