The unit is a very vital point to ponder in order to maintain a good class rapport. The guidelines that were given would be very helpful. The unit also gave guidelines on how to manage classroom behavior which is very important for a teacher to look into. Establishing a good rapport with students is one clear reason to a successful teaching life.This unit covered receptive skills--reading and listening. I had never really considered them before such as the fact both can be done for a purpose or for entertainment. And that there are so many skills to do with reading such as predictive skills, scanning, and skimming. I will now consider the differences in reading and writing when teaching.
