It is more practical for an EFL teacher to consider that there are three different times in English;the past ,the present and the future .Each of these times has four aspects;simple,continuous,perfect and perfect continuous.From this unit,I've learned a lot about the form,usages,typical student errors/mistakes and teaching ideas of present tenses.This lesson was very insightful. It has been a few years since I taught ESL, and I found the examples in this lesson to be very helpful. I really like the idea of using the various approaches, such as the boomerang type lesson while designing a lesson plan. I feel as though these are very fresh ideas that allow you to add variation to the lessons.
