This unit actually needs attention from the teachers so they can use the information of phonology correctly without confusing the student, in some areas of this unit, I may choose to not teach deeply the transcript of the words. Instead of that, I will constantly make pronunciation drills, as It seems to be less confusion for most English students.This unit dealt with vocabulary; grammar and functions in the teaching of new language. I learned that students need to be exposed to new language,to understand it's meaning and to be able to practise and produce it. I was able to see the application of the ESA methods that had been introduced in unit3 and this made the unit fairly straightforward.
