This unit covers how to effectively teach productive skills in a classroom, using the ESA lesson concept. Speaking and writing are two very different skills and have to be taught in different ways so they are explained in different sections. Speaking skills were more covered than reading and an interesting distinction was made between accuracy and fluency. These two elements have to be focused on at different stages of ESA ( study for accuracy and activate for fluency) and teaching has to take that into consideration for the best result so this unit was overall helpful in helping my understanding of how to teach productive skills.
