This unit covers the various types of teaching aids and their proper usage. These aids include the standard black/white board, the interactive whiteboard, worksheets, visual aids, overheard projectors, casette players, cd players, video cameras, videos/dvds, dictionaries, resource books, course books, online resources, computers, and a photocopier. The chapter repeatedly makes the point that instructors must work with the equipment they have, not the equipment they wish they had. As such, instructors will need to plan and be adaptable so they can effectively implement lessons with the resources at their disposal in the classroom.
