On this unit , i learnt that there are four basic skills in the language namely receptive,reading and listening,productive, lastly speaking and writing.these skills are very important for students because they will not have a problem in speaking understanding the new language.Speaking and writing are also important as they try to balance the language.There are many reasons for reading which includes for entertainment the understanding depend on predictive skills which depend on general idea, specific information , detailed and deduction fr text . Students may face problems with reading and listening which includes unfamiliar words.
