This unit was very complex with many new terms needed to be learnt. I originally knew the basics, a noun, a verb, an adjective. I also knew when to use an or a but I had no idea the rules behind when to use each. I did not know the words for the multiple parts of each sentence. I did not know there were so many types of nouns, countable, uncountable, plurals, Common, proper, compound etc. The same goes for each main subject area, adjectives, i didn't know the types of adjective, Articles, i didn't know. This unit really broke down the way we construct a sentence, what each part is and the reason for writing a word in the way we do.
