Unit 2 covered Teaching and Learning with the topics; Teachers and learners, teaching adults, teaching groups or individuals, the four different skills (listening, reading, speaking and writing), and teaching methods, etc. One of the things I learned while studying this unit is that there are advantages and disadvantages for teaching groups or individuals. For example, one to one students get more of the teacher?s attention and more feedback but on the other side there is not the possibility for group work which is always a very good teaching strategy. One to one can also become boring for the student. These are some examples.
