Unit 13: Teaching Pronunciation and Phonology, I must say, was the hardest unit thus far. It was basically learning a new language for me, as I have not had experience with the phonetic alphabet before (that I can remember). Understanding the stresses of a word and how we join sounds together made a lot of sense. However, getting into articulation became very difficult. Although I caught on the more I studied it - it really is like learning a brand new language which I can see being difficult for my future students. However, the demonstration class video gave me inspiration on how I would teach a unit like this to my classroom.
