From this unit, I have learned ways in which one can utilize their voice as well as eye contact and gestures to get their point across and to ensure that the students can fully understand what is being asked of them. I have also learned how specific seating arrangements can either help or hinder a class as well as the types of group works and the pros and cons that come with each. Learning how to best manage an unruly student was especially helpful although hopefully it will not happen often. This section has helped me prepare for how to best set up a well functioning classroom and to establish good rapport with your future students.
