Laying out a lesson before class is very important. If there is no plan, the teacher will waste teaching time trying to decide what to teach leaving students bored. A lesson plan should include a lesson objective, anticipated points, time and the different phases included with the procedures. Students should be given interaction and the teacher needs to anticipate any obstacles which may arise. This will help the teacher have a backup plan. Though it recommends not to have a script, I think it would not hurt to have 3-4 lines important to say to the class, such as the objective, so students are clear as to what they will be learning.
