Unit 18 covers how to use and teach modal verbs, phrases verbs, and both voices. The modal verbs are used to express a variety of qualities, such as: obligation, possibility, permission, ability, and advice.The passive and active voices change formation depending on their tense. Relative clauses- a group of words containing a subject and a verb. An independant clause is a complete sentence while a dependent clause isn't. A relative clause (which is a dependent clause) modifies a noun/ which gives further description about a noun. A relative clause is also known as an adjective clause. Phrasal verbs are verbs plus one or two particles.
