This lesson should be used in basic language being as clear as possible. It should focus on the target language. Some of the activities in the future tenses can be diaries or planners which are useful in planning, asking future questions and predicting what will happen in the future. Focusing on the structure of a sentence is helpful in deciding which tense is being used. It is important to maximize student talk time for this lesson probably pairing students to increase their chances of utilizing future tense.
