Between teaching receptive skills and teaching productive skills, I always felt that teaching receptive skills was more difficult. It' more difficult because each person has their own way of processing and understanding information and it's not as apparent as, say, correcting writing would be in teaching productive skills. I thought that this unit would have more information on how to skillfully teach receptive skills. I realized that instead of giving the psychological component of teaching, it gave tools with which we can develop receptive skills. Rather than teaching receptive skills, we should focus on developing receptive skills.
