This unit was talking about the conditionals and reported speech. Zero conditional: If+present tense, present tense. 1st conditional: If+present tense, will. 2nd conditional: If+past tense, would+base form. 3rd conditional: If+ past perfect, would+have+past participle. Mixed conditional:If+ past perfect, would+base form. When using reported speech, we need to use the previous tense (ex: present tense in direct speech will become past tense in reported speech; present continuous will become past continuous;exception will be the past perfect will still be past perfect) and the third party pronoun with the corresponding tenses of verbs.
