In this unit I have learnt to distinguish between the four aspects of the present tense - present simple, present continuous, present perfect and present perfect continuous - and how to break these down in each of the three forms. Once I was able to differentiate between the 4 aspects it made it much easier for me to identify when these are used in different contexts. It became clear that this is an area that many students can struggle with but I taught how to identify the errors and mistakes that can be made and how to see why these might be made. The unit also had great examples of Activate activities that can be used in a lesson.
