This unit solely covered the past form of verbs. This unit is key in teaching verbs. Not only does it introduce a new tense, but the unit built on the last unit- just like the English language does. In explaining this, it is imperative to form your own lessons this way. For instance, on page 1 the text reads, \"You should begin to see certain similarities in usage and form emerging. Some of the rules you should be able to notice at this stage are...\". The rules for English are there and they apply across tenses. Our job then is to show how the language interacts and builds. By creating the firm foundation in the Present Tense- it becomes that much easier to teach the others.
