This unit is focused on the issue of Lesson Planning. It clearly brings out the functions of writing lesson plans which are: An aid to planning, A working document and a record. It also talks of how a lesson plan should be written and the basic principles of lesson planning. This unit also talks about the practical things a teacher should do before starting a lesson to make the lesson go smoothly, as well as what should be included in a lesson plan. What i have learnt from this lesson is that, there is no particular way to write a lesson plan. While some teachers (inexperienced) do a formal lesson plan, others(experienced) just jot notes,or log details into class note books.
