This unit talks about the two important receptive skills - reading and listening. Both are integral part of learning as they result to better understanding. Without these two skills, a student will not be able to acquire new knowledge. Also, reading and listening require thought processing, the mind. All the information provided in audio recordings and in books will be processed by our brains. The teacher's responsibility is to make learning fun and interactive. Students will learn if they are motivated. Introducing new lessons should be interesting and should not be deemed as intimidating. The teacher should guide the students from start and through every part of the lesson.
