It was very instructive to read about the way different class settings and pair/group/individual work can help to create varied dynamics. Ideally, I think all these approaches should be used over a week to allow students to pratice different communicative and interractive skills. The verbal and body languages also have a major impact on the lesson and therefore the learning. The speaking time \"allocation\" appears to be something challenging since a teacher is likely to believe that talking extensively leads to clarity and better understanding. Talking less but clearly (possibly with visual help) leaves more time for the students to practise, especially during activity phases.
