Unit 5 includes some essential facts and tips regarding the classroom management and maintenance of discipline. Needless to say, the productivity of a learning environment and the success of the learners depends to a great deal on the ways the teacher manages the class and handles the behavioral, motivational, etc. issues that inevitably would arise at one point or another. I, as a teachers, have been aware of and implementing most of the tips introduced in this unit. However, there were some points that were new to me (e.g. In the section that elaborates on pros and cons of student grouping), or I didn't know the rationale behind them; and this unit shed light on them for me.
