This unit covered the future tenses. In addition to the normal four tenses of simple, perfect, continuous, and perfect continuous, we also looked at present simple and continuous tenses as well as \"be going to\". These can also be used to express a future meaning. The usages were very useful again. In this unit the usage for future perfect included a good explanation about standpoints. The future perfect tense is used to look at the past from the future. This is an excellent way to explain the idea. When explaining future tenses I now have the idea to explain the standpoint of the speaker as well. Acting out standpoints and drawing timelines could be very valuable to students.
