This lesson did a great job at going over the basics of sentence structure. The focus on detailing the differences between each types of structure within a sentence was very helpful. Too often I think we speak and write without paying attention to what we are saying and how it sounds grammatically. Learning the basics and when to apply proper word usage is vital for speaking and writing, as well as necessary when learning English as a second language. Understanding the difference between transitive and intransitive verbs is very important, particularly when writing. Also, learning the correct way to use adverbs and prepositions is fundamental when developing your English skills.
