This unit covered conditional phrases and reported speech. It identified the five conditionals, their form, how they are used and examples of them. It also explained what reported speech is and how to correctly use it. The unit gave examples of good teaching ideas for both as well as some of the common mistakes made amongst students or challenges they face when trying to learn these grammar points. Out of all the grammar units I found this one to be particularly challenging. Once again, being a native English speaker I don't ever think about how I change from direct speech to reported speech or how I construct my conditional sentences. It can be difficult to retain all the rules.
