This unit presents two new phenomena used in English grammar including; Conditionals and Reported speech. The five main conditionals including: the Zero conditional, First, Second, Third conditionals and the Mixed conditional are explained in detail; their forms and usages. Furthermore, the way in which speech is reported in English language is examined; the changes that occur in the tense and structure of the sentence, the pronouns and the time expressions. Various teaching ideas for these are also presented which I find very useful. I think this would be a challenging one for students to master therefore, the teacher shouldn't hurry over these but go very slowly on each item.
