From Unit 5 ?Classroom Managmennt? I learn about the skill of organising and managing the class, having a friendly, relaxed manner and maintaining disicipline. There are three thinga that the teacher use physical present in the classroom. First is the eye contact, it helps to maintain focus in the classroom. It is useful for: maintaining disicipline, encourage contributions, and to show students that they are involved and participating in the lesson. Second is about the use of body language to manage the class, to increase/decrease the pace of the lesson, add visual interest and reduce teacher talk time. Third is the most powerfull tools for teacher to use voice to effectiveness managing classroom. Voice should have the correct: clarity, volume, range and in simple word in order to effect the classroom discussion. In this Unit also learnt about the seating arrangement (Orderly rows, Horsehoes, and separate tables). I believe there are ?no? best seating arrangement for any class. Because it will depend on the classroom size, students personality, material available and more. As a teacher, I have the authority to move the students for the benefit of an activity, cohesion or dicipline. In term of managing classes, teachers are required to giving student attention and instruction. So it will make sure every students are motivate and enthusiatic participate in the class. Hopefully as the class progressing, teacher and student will establishing a good rapport, good communication and respecting each other values.
