In this TEFL course, I gained knowledge about the following things : The relationship between teachers and students; teaching theories, methods and techniques. Outlooks and methods for teaching special groups. Classroom management and sorting out potential problems. Parts of speech and basic grammar including present, past, and future tenses as well as conditional and reported speech; passive voice grammar items. Classroom materials and technology. Evaluation of student language level and development. Teaching new language as well as receptive and productive skills. In depth study and practice about different methods of ESA lesson planning. I plan on using what I have learned to : *Take a caring approach to student development, as mentioned at course outset. *Make regular and good evaluation of students so they are aware of their progress. *Use teaching methods best for ability levels of particular student groups. *To always be ready to embrace new teaching ideas. *Make best use of available materials and technology. *Make well organized and workable ESA lesson plans that allow balanced student involvement in lessons. *Make informed and creative choices about teaching methods and techniques. *Teach with the best possible character *Teach material students are interested in.
