The unit demonstrated two different lesson plans, first lesson was ineffective for the following reasons,no rapport built with students,too much teacher talk time,pace of lesson was too quick,teacher did not monitor correctly the correction process incorrect.This lead to low student participation and lack of student understanding of lauguage point taught.Second lesson was effective , clearly demonstrated the ESA straight arrow lesson plan, adequate timing to each phase.Student given opportunity to particitate and adequate amount of student and teacher talk time.This lead to active student participation and understanding of the lauguage point.From this lesson I learnt that teacher attitude plays a big part in student motivation to participate and learn.
