This unit covered the seven most common forms of the future tense. Some points that were emphasized in this unit was how complex the future tense can be. Many forms can appear to be similar to an English learner such as future perfect \" I will have worked here for two years,\" vs. future perfect continuous \"I will have been working here for two years next March.\" These subtleties can be quite hard for learners to spot and even English speakers can struggle to notice the difference. One thing this unit helped me realize was the distinctions in usage for the various forms. Also, as an American, I didn't realize the verb shall was still in use and it will be important to note for lessons if students intend to travel to countries that use British English.
