This lesson helped me understand the various forms of present tense along with its usage and the typical errors that students are likely to make. It also gave an understanding of the different types of activities that can be conducted around this lesson to help students understand the topic in a more engaging and fun way.This unit covers the advantages/disadvantages of coursebooks and also explains two types of materials: authentic and created. I feel that I learned better ways of deciding what types of materials I should use in a lesson and also when to use a coursebook and when to supplement a lesson with authentic or created materials.
