I liked the activities presented in this unit. This unit got me thinking about how to use authentic materials in my classroom. I often use a text book as well as additional created material. This created material allows me to tailor each lesson to my objectives. I find this approach a benefit to the classroom environment.In this unit I read about the different forms of the past tense. I learnt that the system and structure of past tenses is not too different from present tenses, except that past tenses obviously relate to past time periods. All perfect forms feature some form of the verb 'to have' and the past participle form of the verb.
