The unit talks about the differences between authentic materials and created materials. It also discussed the use of course books and what their advantages are.I know more about the different options that are available for using course books. Reference is also made to the attitudes which teachers have towards course books.This unit (receptive skills), has helped me a lot to understand how important they are for the better understanding of students and how to apply them well. Receptive skills are listening and reading. There are two main reasons whey we apply receptive skills. Its either for a particular purpose or for general entertainment.
